Our program’s curriculum offers the student the opportunity to specialize in areas such as Computer Engineering Technology and Electronic Engineering Technology through elective courses. The option in Electronic Engineering Technology prepares students to work with engineers and other technical personnel in industry on the design, development and testing of circuits and systems. The option in Computer Engineering Technology prepares students for careers in the fields of computer engineering and information technology. The students can choose either option.
A total of 124 semester credit hours is required to complete the program that includes courses in Calculus Math, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Programming, Speech, and Technical Writing, as well as major courses and technical electives in Electronic Engineering Technology.
Requirements for admissioninclude a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Community college graduates are also encouraged to apply.
