STEM DAY 2015

Purpose:

STEM Day is an outreach activity for K-12 students that is designed to increase their interest in pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, and to highlight the various STEM activities taking place on FAMU’s campus. 

Theme:

The event’s theme is “FAMU CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” which will involve the use of various “crime scenes” to provide students with hands-on problem solving experience in STEM disciplines.

Spring Career Fair 2015

The Florida IT Career Alliance will host its second Career Fair on February 2, 2015 at the FSU Turnbull Conference Center.  We encourage all of our partners to come out to this exciting learning and networking event. The Florida IT Career Alliance is holding a press conference to publicly recognize our local educational partners in the Bay, Escambia, Gulf, Jackson, Okaloosa and Washington counties. These schools are invested in promoting IT, computer science, and engineering education among its students. These schools include A. Crawford Mosley High, Bay High, Fort Walton Beach High, J.R. Arnold High, Marianna High, Pine Forest High, Sneads High, Vernon High, Wewahitchka High, and Workman Middle.
