Cash Management

Cash Management is responsible for safeguarding the University’s financial assets, examining daily cash flows and bank balances, processing and recording wire transfers, investing idle cash, projecting cash needs, monitoring university cash collection sites and performing federal and state draw requests on behalf of the University. In addition, Cash Management ensures that daily disbursements and obligations are met.

Our payment methods are cash, personal checks (only with proper driver’s license information), money orders, cashier’s checks, Visa, MasterCard, debit card, and wire transfers. For our students’ convenience, FAMU’s Web Card Payment Process is available and may be accessed via FAMU’s homepage at FAMU.edu. Students using this service must have a FAMU assigned User ID and Password.
