CONVERSATIONAL LANGUAGE PROGRAMS

The Division of Continuing Education is pleased to offer three programs to the community to improve and increase the knowledge and skills in Spanish and English.


COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH
Target Audience: Rising Middle and High School Students

The purpose of this camp is to promote cultural and linguistic awareness among our children and youth. The lessons and activities are designed to teach and foster conversational fluency in Spanish, initiate and promote the study of foreign language (Spanish) in the Fall or beyond.

COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH FOR ADULTS
Target Audience: Adults

The purpose of this course is to promote cultural and linguistic competency particularly in the work force. The course is designed to teach and foster conversational fluency in Spanish, contribute to workplace job security, and improved customer service.

CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Target Audience: Rising Middle and High School Students

The purpose of this camp is to promote English fluency (conversation) among international students. The activities are designed to acclimate, acculturate, and to promote cultural and linguistic competency.
