Description:
Practice of IA encouraged throughout the University - The academic program demonstrates how the university encourages the practice of IA, not merely that IA is taught.

A.  Provide a link to the University IA Security Plan.

B.  University designated Information Systems Security Officer.  Provide name, position and job description for person or persons responsible for information security at the institution.

  3. Job Description: 
    • Oversee the continuous monitoring and protection of information processing resources
    • Represent security interest at internal and external meetings
    • Review and analyze new state and federal requirements
    • Evaluate changes to the processing environment for security impact
    • Assist internal and external auditors
    • External security workgroup and meetings with State Information Security Managers, Association of Contingency Planners, Information Security Assoc.
    • Monitor and implement controls
    • Manage security and change controls
    • Develop, update, and maintain IT Risk Assessment plan and documentation
