Due to the rapidly evolving situation regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the Career and Professional Development Center would like to share updates with you regarding the availability of CPDC services during this time. Our number one priority will always be the health and safety of our students, employers, and staff. Thus, we are instituting the following through April 30th:

•    All employer-related events are canceled during this period.
•    If you have any FAMU students serving in an intern or co-op role at your location, please be sure to update them on your operating status and guidelines. We have encouraged students to discuss concerns directly with their instructors and supervisors.

We encourage you to continue to stay connected with our students by utilizing Handshake to post your job and internship opportunities. You can also use the events and interview features within Handshake to continue your recruiting efforts by hosting virtual events and interviews. The Employer Connections team is dedicated to fulfilling the mission of the Career and Professional Development Center by connecting our talented students with meaningful employment, experiential educational opportunities and developing partnerships with employers, administrators, faculty, and alumni on projects that enhance career opportunities. We facilitate networking opportunities for FAMU students and employers through a variety of career fair events, employer information sessions, etiquette dinners and many other special events and programs.

We offer a full range of services to recruiters to help you meet your hiring needs. If you would like to post jobs or internships, we provide free employer access to our online career services management system, HireARattler powered by Handshake. We can also help you arrange on-campus interviews and assist you in developing your organization's campus recruiting strategy.
