FAMU Mobile Printing allows students, faculty or staff to print from a university computer or personal device to release stations located at FAMU’s Business Center. Mobile printing is only accessible from on-campus.
How does it work?
There are two (2) ways to print, Email or Internet Browser. Once the job is sent, you will have 120 minutes to release documents before they are removed from the Pharos Print system.
Print Using Email
Attach a document to your email and send it to the following address (this must come from your FAMU email address): email@example.com
To release documents sent via email, your email address must first be registered with the Pharos Print Center. You will receive an email from FAMU MobilePrinting to complete your email registration.
I. Click the Click to register your email address link. You will be directed to the Pharos Print Center Website.
II. Log in to the Pharos Print Center with your iRattler username and current password. You will receive a message ‘Email address has successfully been registered to your account’.
III. Click Ok. Your email address will be added to the database and the next time you submit your documents via email, you will receive a reply email showing that your documents are ready for release.
3. Receive Email from Print Center
You will receive an email from FAMU Mobile Printing when your document is ready
to print (takes 2 to 3 minutes to process). Go to the Business Center to release the
job from your print queue.
Print Using Internet Browser
The file will now appear in the job list. To preview the print job, click the print preview icon that is in the "Print Preview" column of the uploaded file's print job.5. You can modify the color settings and the number of copies to print.
