NABJ Multimedia Short Course
Application Deadline: Dec. 1, 2009

The NABJ Multimedia Short Course is aimed at encouraging more African-American journalism students to pursue careers as multimedia professionals and managers. The project will give students access to African Americans who currently work as news directors, producers, writers, assignment editors, directors and the like, at some of the top television stations in the country, as well as give the m hands-on experience and a practical understanding of what these jobs entail. Students will produce television newscasts, podcasts, slideshows, blogs, and online news stories. Apply online at www.nabj.org. FAMU will host the short course Jan. 21-23, 2010.
