Seed-Saving Learning Workshops with Seed-Saving Pioneer Ira Wallace

From Feb. 25-28, internationally recognized seed-saving pioneer, Ira Wallace, will be the featured speaker at several workshops for local food growers and community members interested in learning how to save seed or preserve local seed bio diversity. Students are encouraged to attend.

The workshops will also include tips on maintaining small farm sustainability and information on the importance of organic seeds.The workshops are presented by the Extension's Statewide Small Farm Program in collaboration with IFAS, Transitions Sarasota Movement and local small farmers.
