The Homecoming parade is scheduled for Saturday, November 10 and will begin at 8 a.m. It will travel south on Macomb Street and turn east onto West Tennessee Street. The parade will then turn south onto Duval Street and continue south to Pensacola Street. At Pensacola Street, the parade will travel west to the parking lot of the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center where it will disembark.
Parade participants will be judged for overall conformity to the theme, originality, creativity, general eye appeal and craftsmanship. The theme for Homecoming 2012 is “Ignite the Strike: 125 Years of Excellence.”
The registration fees are as follows:
- Marching Band (Free)
- Float and primary towing vehicle ($100)
- Walking units (Maximum of 25 people) ($100)
- Car/Van/Motorcycle (Maximum of four vehicles) ($150)
