TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida A&M University (FAMU) will host the annual Industry Cluster Meeting from Wednesday, October 29, to Saturday, November 1, 2008.
This year’s business and industry cluster coincides with history in the making as FAMU inaugurates its 10th President James H. Ammons.
“This year’s business and industry cluster theme HBCU's? Shaping our Future: Impacting the National Agenda is timely as our?campus and other HBCU campuses throughout the nation focus on our national economy, U.S. markets, and encouraging our students to vote in record numbers in this critical presidential election,” said Carla Willis, vice president for University Development and executive director of the FAMU Foundation, Inc.
Some of the participating corporations include Boeing; Cisco Systems; Lockheed Martin; Eli Lily and Company and Ford Motor Company.
