TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Lady Dhyana Ziegler, Dame of Justice and Florida A&M University (FAMU) journalism professor, will speak during the Technology Symposium at the World Forum on August 28, at St. Catherine’s College, University of Oxford. She will present on Globalization—Connecting the Dots.
The World Forum is an annual event where representatives from several countries assemble to share knowledge and information on how to better all nations and societies. Last year, 55 countries participated. This year’s forum will convene on August 23-31.
“The School of Journalism and Graphic Communication applauds Prof. Ziegler for this recognition,” said James Hawkins, SJGC Dean. “It is a singular honor that reflects her international reputation in educational technology.”
This will be Ziegler’s third consecutive presentation at the World Forum and second presentation at Oxford University. According to Linda Kellander, director of the World Forum, Ziegler was asked to present because of her “enlightening and powerful presentations.”
The World Forum is sponsored by the American Biographical Institute headquartered in Raleigh, N.C. and the International Biographical Center in Cambridge, England.

About the School of Journalism and Graphic Communication
The Florida A&M University School of Journalism and Graphic Communication was founded in 1982. Its Division of Journalism was the first journalism program at a historically black university to be nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications. It offers four journalism sequences: newspaper, magazine production, broadcast (television and radio) and public relations. The Division of Graphic Communication was accredited in 2002 by the Accrediting Council on Collegiate Graphic Communication.
