TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida A&M University’s (FAMU) Student Government Association Vote Coalition will host a District 8 Debate Tuesday, April 8, at 7 p.m. in Lee Hall Auditorium. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
Invited participants include Alan Williams; Sean Shaw; Hubert Brown; Rodney Moore; and Anthony Viegbesie. Each are seeking the District Eight House of Representative Seat currently held by the Honorable Curtis Richardson.
“The debate is a great opportunity for the FAMU student body and local community to engage in local politics which greatly affects campus life,” said Markita Samuel, 2007-2008 chair of the Vote Coalition.
