iRattler HR-Payroll System
SECOND PENNY TEST
PENNY TEST
The new iRattler HR-Payroll system has successfully completed the first penny test.
A second penny test will now ready to proceed and will assist to validate all the system adjustments, modifications, and corrections, as well as any new Direct Deposit Employee’s accounts. The same process utilized in the first penny test that is described below, will be run again. If you have any questions, please contact Moeub Lanh or Rick Beyer at 850-412-7967.
WHAT & WHEN:
In Order to validate the iRattler’s ability to place payments into Employee’s Direct Deposit accounts, a second penny test will be deposited into Employee’s accounts on December 21, 2006.
WHO:
Employees that were on the November 17-November 30, 2006 payroll cycle, with a check date of December 8, 2006 and had Direct Deposit with the State of Florida for that pay period should receive the penny.
IF YOU CURRENTLY HAVE A FAMU CREDIT UNION ACCOUNT:
Additionally, Employees with deductions to the FAMU Credit Union will also see a penny deposited into that account. This is because in iRattler HR-Payroll, the Credit Union deductions are treated as a distribution of pay and will be transmitted electronically to the Credit Union.
Employees that received a check on this payday will not receive a test penny in any account.
WHERE TO SIGN UP FOR DIRECT DEPOSIT:
Go to the following website for the Direct Deposit form, complete the form and submit it to the Payroll Office:
All Employees are required to be on Direct Deposit (except college work study, who are encouraged to participate)
WHAT IF I DO NOT GET THE PENNY BY DECEMBER 22, 2006?
If the penny does not hit your account by December 22, 2006, please take the following actions:
- Contact your financial institution to see if the penny was received and returned because your account information was not correct. If this is the case, please fill out a new Direct Deposit form and get it to the Payroll Office before December 26, 2006.
- If the second penny was not received by your financial institution, please email MOEUB.LANH@FAMU.EDU or RICK.BEYER@FAMU.EDU
- All pennies returned by your financial institution will cause the Employee’s Direct Deposit account to be terminated and a check will be issued until a new Direct Deposit form is received by the Payroll Office.
