iRattler Training

The iRattler Training Team provides end user training to faculty, staff, and administrators for the iRattler (PeopleSoft) system. The team collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SME/Functional Analysts) to develop instructional materials for end user training. At the end of the training course, an assessment (test) will be given to employees. Those that earn a passing score will become credentialed in the module specific course and will be given access to the iRattler system.

iRattler Training Courses:

Fundamentals 9.0 – Mandatory course that provides the foundation that employees need to build the pre-requisite skills needed for their module-specific courses and gain knowledge to efficiently operate within the iRattler system.

eProcurement 9.0– This course demonstrates the activities associated with requesting and receiving goods and services from external suppliers. It is designed for Requestors who create purchasing requisitions and Approvers who approves the requisitions.

Time and Labor 8.9 – This course provides complete control over tracking employee’s time and labor. It is for Time and Labor Representatives who will enter employees’ time into the system and Time and Labor Approvers who will approve the payable time.

Faculty Self Service 9.0 – This course is designed for Faculty to learn to view class schedule, access class roster, record grades, make class assignments, and record attendance.

Financial Aid 9.0 – This course is designed for those authorized to manage financial aid activity for applicants and students. You will learn how to View the Financial Aid Status Page and also how to Manually Award Restricted Aid.

Student Financials 9.0 – This course is designed for those authorized to manage Student Receivables, Billing, Collections, and Cashiering.  Using Student Financials, staff can quickly find and use the financial information they need to make critical decisions. You will learn how to Calculate Tuition and Fees and also how to Maintain Receivables.

Student Records 9.0 – This course is designed for those that maintain the schedule of classes, class enrollment, class section availability, grading, and provides up-to-date summaries of student statistics, and many other functions. Those authorized to perform these functions are Deans, Chairpersons, Faculty, or Academic Advisors.

Campus Community 9.0 – This course is designed for those authorized to maintain and manage a wide range of biographic and demographic information on people and organizations of interest to our institution, both internal and external.

Recruitment and Admissions 9.0 – This course is designed for those authorized to plan, manage, and track admissions and recruitment activities. This particular course demonstrates the viewing process for Managing Applicant Records and Supporting Information.
