Student Life ---- Long Rang Goals (3-year plan)
- To ensure that the functional areas of Student Life meet and/or exceed the professional standards of the Council for the Advancement of Standards (CAS) in Higher Education.
- To devise and implement plans and strategies to enhance customer service in the student life areas that will be measurable through delivery of quality product(s) and customer satisfaction via surveys.
- To foster “student life” programming through collaboration with academic and non-academic areas within the University as well as community agencies and groups.
- To enhance institutional (i.e., student life) effectiveness through review and revision of operational procedures, systems and processes; and to adopt appropriate steps and methods to institutionalize those procedures and processes.
- Create ways for staff to organize and work across functions as well as functionally to develop procedures and processes that stress prevention and improve the organization.
- Seek to provide the necessary resources needed for staff to do their jobs and continuously improve-time, services, information, and training.
- To actively assist and promote the University initiatives in developing a systematic plan for construction and/or renovation of new and current student residential facilities.
