QEP Faculty Development ProgramQEP Faculty Development Program The goal of QEP Faculty Development Program is to promote the enhancement of student learning by ensuring that faculty and staff are aware of and use uniform and effective methods of teaching and assessing students’ critical thinking skills. Through this activity, faculty and staff are provided with training opportunities and instructional resources, and are encouraged to incorporate instructional and assessment best practices into their course curricula. Specific components of the program include: - On-campus workshops facilitated by external consultants that are held throughout the academic year
- Travel support for faculty and staff to attend off-campus professional conferences and training workshops
- Funding for faculty course-development projects
- The purchase of educational tools to increase the use of instructional technology in the classroom setting
