FAMU Orlando Campus The FAMU Department of Public Safety has a satellite police unit at the College of Law in Orlando, Florida. The Unit employs sworn police officers that provide services to the law school community (students, faculty, staff and visitors). Most of the officers assigned here have over 10 years of experience in law enforcement at a variety of agencies.
As an extension of the DPS headquarters, this Unit provides liaison between the COL and local law enforcement and emergency service agencies in the Orlando area.
