 Message From The Chief Communications Officer
Greetings:
Welcome to the website for the Office of Communications. You are on the website of one of America’s leading institutions of higher learning and the number one producer of African Americans at the baccalaureate degree level. FAMU is distinct in this way and many others. One of the functions of our office is to tell the good news and provide information about the university to the people who really matter — students, faculty, staff, alumni, prospective students, parents, business partners, and legislators.
We want to assist the university in carrying out its mission and goals so that we can build partnerships, increase enrollment, build membership in the alumni association and increase corporate donations. We have four units that work together as a team to promote and market the university — media relations, publications, marketing and special events.
