Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC)About CLC
Florida A&M University (FAMU) became a member of the College Licensing Company
(CLC) in 2000 to:
- help protect the University’s brand/trademark;
- help promote the University; and
- help generate funds to assist the Athletics Department
CLC serves as a licensing agent for the University and is responsible for maintaining the licensing program, such as processing the licensing applications, collecting royalty payments, enforcement of trademarks, as well as seeking to find new marketing opportunities for the University.
