Orientation Registration Instructions
Before attempting to complete Orientation registration, please have your Student ID#. To register for Orientation click the following link: https://secure.vzorientation.com/FAMU or copy and paste the link into your browser.
Carefully read all of the information listed below to ensure you have a smooth and seamless visit to campus.
Ø Each student should obtain a Username and Password for the iRattler Portal by logging on to www.famu.edu/uac or by calling 850-412-HELP.
Ø Immunization requirements must be met before you can register for classes.
o Please mail the immunization documentation to the STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES OFFICE. Do not mail your records to the Orientation Office. Always bring a copy of your immunization records with you to orientation. For more information about immunization requirements please visit our website at www.famu.edu/newstudentorientation.
Ø Freshman students must provide an official final transcript from each institution/high school attended as well as CLEP score reports (if applicable) no later than 60 calendar days after the semester begins.
Ø Please bring an Unofficial Transcript with you for your academic advisement session.
ARRIVAL & PARKING
Ø General Parking is available at Bragg Memorial Stadium, the University Parking Garage located on Wahnish Way, and the General Parking Lot located at the corner of Osceola and MLK Blvd.
Ø Permanent Parking Decals may be obtained only after you have registered for classes. Please note that only students who have accumulated at least 30 semester credit hours will be issued permanent parking permits. Please be mindful that vehicles parked on campus without a permit are subject to be ticketed/and or towed at the owner’s expense.
Ø Check –in will begin at 9:00a.m. in Lee Hall Auditorium. Please bring a photo identification.
