The FAMU Access Summer Bridge Program is designed for students who do not meet the criteria for regular admission, but who demonstrate potential to succeed in college with some assistance. The goal of the program is to support those selected to participate through academic support, mentorship and life skills development. Our aim is to ensure that the program participants successfully navigate the transition into college, graduate and move on to successful careers. Successful completion of the Access Summer Bridge Program will make participating students eligible for continuing matriculation at FAMU through this alternative admissions program.
What to Expect:
The Access Summer Bridge Program is a rigorous seven-week program that has helped hundreds of students to meet the eligibility requirements for admission to FAMU. This year the program will begin on June 25 and end on August 1. If you accept this invitation, you will be required to complete three (3) courses including SLS 1101 and/or SLS 1122 (7-8 credit hours).
