What to do if...

  1. I forgot my FAMMail password?
  2. My FAMMail password has expired?
  3. I forgot my iRattler password or it has expired?
  4. I need iRattler PeopleSoft training, or an iRattler Access Request Form?
  5. I have a Mac computer and do not have access to a personal computer. Can I use one at your facility for online training?
  6. I am a student and I am unable to register for a class (i.e. cannot find enrollment link)?
  7. An instructor is not listed as the instructor on record?
  8. I am a graduate student who is active in two programs and I have tuition calculation problems?
  9. I cannot see my employees to approve them?
  10. I cannot see an employee to enter their time?
  11. I cannot view my paycheck?
  12. My question is not listed?

Answers

1. If you have forgotten you FAMMail password you have two options:

  • If you have a user profile set up go to the Password Reset Manager and follow the instructions.
  • If you do not have a user profile call the Help Desk at (850) 412-HELP(4357). The personnel at the Help Desk will assist you with setting up a user profile so you can reset your password.

 
2. Your FAMMail passwords are valid for 60 days after it was assigned or last changed.  Failure to change your password will result in you not being able to use your FAMNet account. If your FAMMail password has expired you have two options:

  • If you have a user profile set up go to the Password Reset Manager and follow the instructions there.
  • If you do not have a user profile call the Help Desk at (850) 412-HELP(4357). The personnel at the Help Desk will assist you with setting up a user profile so you can reset your password.

 
3. If you forgot your iRattler password or it has expired you have two options:

  • Click here for detail instructions on how to reset your password (iRattler Password Reset Instructions).
  • Alternatively you can call the Help Desk at (850) 412-HELP(4357). The personnel at the Help Desk will assist you with setting up a user profile so you can reset your password.

 
4. All request for iRattler training and access is handled by the Office of Organizational Development and Training (ODT). Ms. Shanna Barber is the contact person and can be reached at 850-561-2048 (office), 850-412-7320 (fax), and/or odttraining@famu.edu click here to download an

5. You must contact The Office of Organizational Development and Training (ODT) for all iRattler training related questions 850-561-2048 (office), 850-412-7320 (fax), and/or odttraining@famu.edu

 
6. Some possible reasons may be that the student has been inactive more than two consecutive terms excluding summer, or has not been admitted and/or matriculated to the university.  (In all cases, the student should contact the appropriate admissions office (Undergrad, Graduate or Law)

Please note: Students with any problems related to the services supported by the student system (e.g. registration, online fee payment, grades, financial aid), should contact the respective offices directly. If that office is unable to resolve the issue, then students should request that the office contact the EIT Help Desk at (850) 412-HELP or any member of the EIT Student Administration team.
 

7. The academic department or Registrar’s Office has not added the instructor to the course. Contact the academic department or Registrar’s Office.

 
8. This occurs when FAMU undergraduate students continue on to graduate school at the University. Graduate students, who appear in the system active in two careers, should always choose the graduate career to complete registration and contact the Registrar’s Office for resolution of the multiple careers and tuition calculation hold. 

 
9. Employees to be approved should have hours entered.  Check with Time and Labor Staff in HR to verify that the employee is in the correct certifying department.

 
10. Once an employee is hired, he/she is automatically placed in a dynamic group that is attached to the time and labor representative role for that department. If the employee is not shown, the employee may be in the wrong dynamic group or certifying department. Please contact the Human Resources Office at (850) 599-3611.
 

11. To view your paycheck, you must have a User ID and password. If you do not have a user ID and password contact the Help Desk at (850) 412-HELP. If you already have iRattler access, but do not have your iRattler Human Resources link, please contact EIT's Administrative Office at 850-412-7967 for assistance.
