In October 2008, EIT Security and EIT Training kicked off Security Awareness Month by hosting a cyber security presentation by Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Three sessions held through out the day was attended by over 1400 faculty and staff. Topics covered during the presentation included:
- Virus prevention,
- University Policies,
- Media Disposal,
- Authentication,
- Phishing exploits,
- Identity Theft, and
- Roles and Responsibilities.
