Financial Management SystemFlorida A&M University implemented the Financials Management System version 8.4 in 2004 and upgraded to version 9.0 in 2008. The General Ledger/Commitment Control, Asset Management, Project Costing, Purchasing/eProcurement, Contracts, Billing, Sponsored Projects, Payables and Receivables modules are currently functional.
The iRattler/PeopleSoft Financials team is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the iRattler/PeopleSoft Financial Management Syatem module. The staff is responsible for troubleshooting General Ledger, Accounts Payables and Receivables problems and issues of a technical nature that cannot be resolved by Financial Services personnel. The Financials team ensures that all bundles and fixes as well as tax tables and treaties are tested and implemented in the system. In addition the team generates queries and other ad hoc reports used for validating financial information.
