HCM
W2 and Tax Processing
The HCM team is currently working on configuring the system for the payroll year end process to include W2 and tax processing. The W2 tax forms and employee compensation forms will be printed from the iRattler HCM system for all employees.
E.I.T. Services
Webcasting
EIT Services is currently facilitating the webcasting of all FAMU football games for the Fall 08 football season. The webcast team has successfully webcasted seven FAMU games, including FAMU’s homecoming game. In addition to webcasting sports events the webcasting team also broadcasts, BOT Meetings, Graduation and other importnat FAMU events.
Network and Infrastructure VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol)
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology enables users to make voice calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of an analog phone line. This service enhances the end user phone features and call quality while providing significant cost savings. Florida A&M University has realized the benefits associated with Voice over IP at the College and Law and is expanding this technology to the new Developmental Research School (DRS). Enterprise Information Technology continues to support the Law School deployment of this technology and plans to implement a phased rollout across the remainder of the University’s campus.
