As a result of the outstanding work of the Office of Technology Transfer, Licensing and Commercialization, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University was featured in October 2007 Business Week as one of the most innovative small universities in the country.

Rearcher Receives Another U.S. Patent Targeting Cancer

Tallahassee, FL-----Florida A&M University (FAMU) College ofPharmacy and PharmaceuticalSciences (COPPS) AssociateProfessor, Nazarius S. Lamango,PhD., recently received a U.S.Patent (U.S. 7,897,604) that willhelp diagnosis and treat TripleNegative Breast Cancer (TNBC). According to the NationalCancer Institute (NCI), TripleNegative Breast Cancer disproportionally affects AfricanAmerican and Hispanic Women.
