Parking and access
FAMU is planning 37 parking spaces for “at the door“ parking at the MS Thomas Building where FAMU has renovation plans to house the CPCWD. There will be reserved spaces for CPCWD management, Department of Woreforce Education Administration, and the handicapped. The remainder spaces will be dedicated to the PCC guests/clients. The University has an existing system of designated use and enforcement of parking for various groups (students, staff, public, etc.).
The unreserved parking at the Center is available to guests/clients of the PCC.
Two handicapped spaces with an accessible ramp at the front entry is planned for the Center. These spaces are available to clients/visitors/guests of the PCC and other users of the building in which the PCC is housed. An additional space is reserved to accomodate the handicapped in the parking area at the rear of the center.
In addition to the parking at te center, there is a public parking garage conveniently located just north of the center only a few steps away from the CPCWD. There is also meter parking on Wanish Way along side of the center.
