Gulf of Mexico Alliance Environmental Education Network
The FAMU Center for Water and Air Quality is a partner in the Gulf of Mexico Alliance Environmental Education Network. The GOMAEEN was formed in 2006 in response to the environmental education initiative of the first Gulf of Mexico Alliance's Governors' Action Plan for Healthy and Resilient Coasts. The GOMAEEN is a coalition of individuals dedicated to coordination of educational and outreach activities related to priority issues of the Gulf of Mexico Alliance. The GOMAEEN main web site (http://gulfofmexicoalliance.org/) provides a wealth of information about GOMA activities and priority issues, and numerous resources for educators.
