Dr. Glynnis Bugna is a Research Associate at the Center for Water Resources, College of Agriculture and Food Sciences at Florida A&M University (Tallahassee, FL, USA). She received her Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemical Oceanography from the Florida State University (Tallahassee, FL) in 1999 and 1995, respectively, and her B.S. in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines (Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines) in 1989. Over her more than 20-year research experience, she has worked in such areas as trace metal geochemistry specializing in arsenic speciation in geothermal waters, submarine groundwater discharge and carbon isotope biogeochemistry specializing in jet fuel degradation.  Her research work at Florida A&M University encompasses diverse fields of research in hydrological (e.g., oxygen isotope tracers), terrestrial (e.g., soil erosion), and atmospheric (e.g., PM2.5 indicators) landscapes.
