Center for Viticultural Sciences
The mission of the Center for Viticultural Sciences and Small Fruit Research is to conduct research and provide service and support that will help the viticulture industry in Florida to become a viable industry (Florida Viticulture Policy Act, 1978).
Advances in both veterinary medicine technology and technique are the fuel firing the increased demand for well-trained individuals to work as veterinary technologists.
Students training is an integral component of any of the Centers Programs. Students (at the graduate and undergraduate level) work and do research under the supervision of a major professor (Program Leader) or supervisor. The Center provides hands on experience and serves as a training platform for the number of undergraduate courses: AGG2050 IntroductionBiotechnology,AGG 2050L IntroductionBiotechnology Lab; AGG 4420 Global Seminar: Biotechnology, Food Safety and International Trade Regulatory Policy and all of the CAFS summer recruitment programs: RATLR, AG Discovery, FACE and etc.
