Civil Engineering Corps (CEC)
Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) officers are the Navy's uniformed professional engineers and architects. They are responsible for executing and managing the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the Navy's shore facilities.
CEC officers assume responsibility and acquire valuable experience early in their careers; an incredible resume builder! Positions are available in construction contract management, public works, and the Seebees.
CEC officers work in a variety of locations around the world in highly visible positions supervising engineering personnel and technicians. With a budget of over $11 billion per year, CEC officers get immediate and exciting engineering management experience, responsibility and authority far exceeding that offered by a private firm.
