Florida State University is an affiliate school of the Florida A&M University NROTC program. Midshipmen attending Florida State University will take the classes for their degree at Florida State while also taking Naval Science classes at Florida A&M University.
With Florida State University being only a five minute drive from Florida A&M University, most midshipmen do not have trouble commuting to either university.
