General Information

Training Dates:

This year, the Master Goat and Sheep Certification program will be held for 7 days. The last day of classes will be the graduation ceremony that will be held in conjunction with Florida A&M University's Farm Festival on June 7th, 2015. 
We will also be offering 3 additional bonus classes this year. Please read further for additional information regarding the bonus classes.

The training dates for this year are May 8th, 9th,  May 15 - 16th, 2015 and June 7th, 2015. The bonus sessions will be held on June 20th (computer basics and internet basics), July 25th and August 15th, 2015 (best management practices). All trainining classes will be held at Florida A&M University's Research and Extension Center in Quincy, Florida. If you register for the 5 day training program, registration is free to the bonus sessions just bring your lunch on those days. On site registeration will start at 8:00am on May 8th, 2015 for the Master Goat and Sheep Certification Program.

The training facility is located at Florida A&M University, Research and Extension Center, 4252 Bainbridge Hwy., Quincy, FL. 32352. Click here for map to center.

Travel east on I-10 from the Mariana area, exit on Exit 181 (SR-267 N) toward Quincy. Turn left off the exit. Make a right onto US-90 (W. Jefferson St.). Turn left on Adams street, continue to follow this street for 6 miles. Florida A&M University, Research and Extension center will be on the left behind a white fence.

Travel west on I-10 from the Tallahassee area, exit on Exit 180 (90 hwy.) toward Quincy. Turn right off the exit onto US-90 west. Stay on 90 hwy. west into Quincy, FL. Turn right on Adams street, continue to follow this street for 6 miles.
